SparkBoom Productions is a full-service studio specialising in
short film, content, and creative direction.
Colton (he/him) is a sound artist who specialises in sound recording, sound design, and music composition. Colton studied Music: Audiovisual Cultures at Goldsmiths, University of London.
Iso (they/them) is a visually-led director whose credits include Heartstopper, Why?, Paradise & The Moonflower. Iso studied Graphic Communication at the University of Arts London.
Colton & Iso came up with the name SparkBoom Productions as a fusion of their combined storytelling skills.
Spark represents the visual knowledge that Iso brings to the table. Spark is a role within the lighting department.
Boom represents the audio and sound knowledge that Colton brings. Boom is a type of microphone used to capture sound on set.
Together they make up SparkBoom Productions.
Our practice spans concept to delivery, combining creative direction with hands-on production and end-to-end editing.
We work fluidly across audiovisual disciplines, tailoring each collaboration to the needs of the project and client, whether building a visual identity, producing a short film, telling a brand story, or crafting a distinctive sonic world.
